Alice Marie Daley

Alice M. Daley, 90, of Fond du Lac, passed away at All About Life Nursing Home in Fond du Lac on Wednesday, September 27, 2017.  She was born on March 15, 1927, the daughter of Wilbert and Frances (Seurer) Immel.   She married James “Bob” Daley on May 31, 1947 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Eden, and they celebrated 50 years together.  Alice worked with her husband on the farm in the Town of Empire and was a prep cook at a variety of supper clubs in the Fond du Lac area.  She was a member and volunteer at the Eden Senior Center, FFA, Grandview 4-H Club, Fond du Lac Fair, Irish Club, National Catholic Society of Foresters and Holy Family Catholic Church.

Survivors include her three sons:  Robert (Jutta) of Manitou Springs CO, John of Oshkosh and Dan of Fond du Lac, two daughters:  Patricia (Mark) Holschuh and Mary Farr both of Fond du Lac,  8 grandchildren:  Jennifer (Daryl) Hintz, Kelly (Tracy) Allen, Katie Farr, Laura (Ben) Shook, Nicholas Farr, Matthew Holschuh, Brett Holschuh, Ashley Daley, three step grandchildren:  Angie Wetherall, Chris Mathias and Erika Katsaros, 9 great grandchildren, 6 step great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, sister Ruth (Kenny) Pluim of Waupun, sister-in-law Rita Immel of Mt. Calvary,  nieces, nephews,  cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 4:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Ave., Fond du Lac.  Visitation will be Sunday October 1st from 2PM until the time of the service at the Funeral Home.  Burial will be on Monday at 10AM at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Eden.    Memorial appreciated to the family or the Charity of your choice.  T he Twohig Funeral Home is serving the family with online guestbook and condolences at www.twohigfunerals.com
