Eileen Mary Hahn of Fond du lac, passed away Thursday, November 16th at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac with her family by her side. She was born on February 18, 1955, the second daughter of William and Kathleen (Wettstein) Majerus. Eileen graduated from Campbellsport High School in 1973 and graduated from the nursing program at Moraine Park Technical Institute in 1974. She was employed by Campbellsport School District as their school nurse and at St. Agnes Hospital. Eileen also worked at St. Mary’s School in Eden as their school secretary. She was a study hall supervisor at St. Mary’s Springs High School and also worked in the guidance department as an administrative assistant.
On April 19, 1980 she married David Hahn at St. Mary’s Church in Eden. They lived in the Town of Eden for 33 years and 2 years ago moved to Fond du Lac.
Eileen is survived by her husband David, a daughter Lynn (Joseph) Gleue of Belgium, WI, a son Brian (Melissa) Hahn of Cottage Grove, WI and two granddaughters; Victoria and Naomi Hahn. She is also survived by two sisters Dianne and Betty Majerus, and a brother Howard (Patricia) Majerus, all of Fond du Lac. Also surviving her are brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Phillip Hahn, Mark and Maxine Hahn, Dennis and Candy Hahn, all of Campbellsport and Ann Battistine of Eden, nieces, nephews, numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents William and Kathleen (Wettstein) Majerus, aunts and uncles, parents-in-law Oscar and Kathryn (Thompson) Hahn, brothers-in-law John Hahn and Terrance Battistine and sister-in-law, Mary Hahn.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, November 20th at 11:00 AM at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, 1562 Cty Rd B., Eden. Rev. Mark Jones will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum at Calvary Cemetery in Fond du Lac.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 19th from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Shepherd of the Hills Church and Monday, November 20th from 9:30 AM until the time of Mass also at the church.
