Kathleen Ann Herriges

Kathleen A. Herriges, of St. Michael passed away peacefully on Monday, February 5, 2018 at her home.  She was born on March 2, 1943, the daughter of Mathias W. and Frances (Volz) Serwe. On May 29, 1965, Kathy married Ralph A. Herriges at St. Mathew Catholic Church, Campbellsport.  They are members of St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael.  Kathy was employed at the First state Bank of Campbellsport prior to her marriage, drove bus for special needs children and worked at H & R Block.  She was a member of the Women of the Moose and St. Michael Christian Women.  Kathy enjoyed playing sheepshead and bingo, and gardening especially her flower gardens. She also did crocheting and sewed clothes for the Haiti missions.  Beside her faith, her grandchildren meant the world to her, always showering them with her love and prayers.  They were the light of her life.

Survivors include her beloved husband Ralph, son Ralph F. Herriges, daughter Rhonda (Chip) Faehling, grandchildren Sydney, Kaya and Rylee Faehling and Mitchell Herriges and great grandson Able.

Kathy is further survived by her siblings Frank (Pat) Serwe and Cyril (Pat) Serwe, sisters-in-law Donna Serwe, Gloria Serwe, Sally Serwe, Janet Serwe, Carol (Ron) Gross and Lois Dorn, brother-in-law Eugene (Janice) Herriges,  many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Rosemary and Carl Sether, Virginia and Al Ruf, Sylvester and Susie Serwe, Jeanette and Robert Gruber, Gerald Serwe, Catherine Serwe, Norbert Serwe, Norman Serwe, Joann and Roy Galligan, Matty Serwe and Earl and Helen Herriges.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, February 9th at 6:00 PM at St. Michael Catholic Church, St. Michael (8883 Forestview Road, Kewaskum).  Rev. Ed Kornath will officiate and inurnment will be at a later date in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, February 9th from 3:00 PM until time of Mass at St. Michael Church.
