Carol Marie Behnke

Carol M. Behnke, 83, of Fond du Lac passed peacefully on Tuesday April 3, 2018 at the Woodlands. She was born in Fond du Lac on March 14, 1935, the daughter of Leon and Ella (Schmidt) Bechler. On May 28, 1956, Carol married Douglas A. Behnke. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, the Altar Guild and Ladies Aid. Most important to her was the time she spent with her family especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her son Mike (Helen) Behnke, son-in-law Larry Rasmussen, grandchildren Michelle (Rick) Nett, Stephanie (Chad) Beekman, Derek (Jeano) Berg, Heidi (Shawn) Yanke, Jeremy (Heather) Rasmussen, Melissa (Jeff) Behnke and Kevin (Stephanie) Behnke, nine great grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, 21 step great grandchildren, sister-in-law Marian Bechler, other relatives and friends.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, husband Doug, daughter Cheryl, infant daughter and son and brothers George and John

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 7 ^th at 2:00 PM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 855 Martin Ave. Fond du Lac. Rev. Brett Naumann will officiate and inurnment will be in Forest Cemetery at a later date.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 7 ^th from 12:00 Noon until time of service at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Memorials are appreciated to Good Shepherd Lutheran or Agnesian Hospice Hope.
