Marilyn Arndt

Marilyn D. Arndt, 86, of Fond du Lac, passed away at home on Tuesday, June 19, 2018. She was born on November 19, 1931 in Brandon, WI, the daughter of the late John and Linda Zietz. She was united in marriage to the late Kenneth Arndt on February 10, 1951. Marilyn worked as a Machine Operator for over 40 years at Wells Manufacturing. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, playing card games, and caring for animals. Most of all, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Marilyn will always be remembered for her kind-hearted spirit.

Those Marilyn leaves behind to cherish her memory include her daughters, Judy (Jim) Sauerbrei of Wautoma, Sue (John) Strands of Fond du Lac, Shari (Scott) Holmes of Fond du Lac, and Jill (Dan) Perry of Malone; grandchildren, Cory (Kristy) Burroughs, Mike (Kelly) Sauerbrei, David Sauerbrei, Jimmy (Kristen) Sauerbrei, Kyle (Sara) Strands, Erin (Adam) Wyngaard, Xavier (Madi) Juliano, Reece Holmes, Angie (Josh) Clark, Joe (Jamie) Perry, and Brian Perry; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Annie Burroughs, and sister, Beverly Zietz.

A funeral service in remembrance of Marilyn will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 6:00 pm at the Twohig Funeral Home. 305 Fond du Lac Ave, Fond du Lac, WI. 54935. Marilyn’s family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until the time of the funeral service. Private entombment will take place at the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Marilyn’s name are appreciated to Healing Paws Therapy Dogs, or The Arc of Fond du Lac.
