Anton G. Strohmeyer

Anton G. Strohmeyer, 85, of Kewaskum passed away peacefully on Monday, November 12, 2018 at his home.  He was born February 28, 1933 on the family homestead in the Town of Wayne, the son of George and Jennifer (nee Hoffman) Strohmeyer.  Anton farmed on the family farm all his life and was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum.   He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and playing cards especially sheepshead.

Survivors include his special friend Marguerita Schoofs of Kewaskum, sisters Loretta (William) Knepprath of Saukville and Marion Knepprath of Sheboygan Falls, sister-in-law Betty Strohmeyer of Newburg, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Anton was preceded in death by his parents, brother Harold, sisters Louise and Catherine and brother-in-law Edward Knepprath.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 15th at 11:30 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 331 Main St. Kewaskum.  Rev. Jacob Strand will officiate and burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 15th from 10: 00 am until time of Mass at Holy Trinity Church.
