Debra A. Wellskopf (nee Antinucci), 68, of Campbellsport, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Aurora St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee. She was born on September 10, 1950 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of the late Anthony and Dee Antinucci (nee Pope). Debra met her future husband, David Wellskopf while attending U.W. Whitewater. They were later married at Fundamental Bible Church in Milwaukee on November 23, 1973. Debra’s passion for children led her to become an Elementary School Teacher at Kewaskum Elementary School. Once Debra and David began their family, Debra became the ultimate Homemaker and took great pride in home schooling her three children. She was very active at her church, the Campbellsport Alliance Church where she was involved in the Women’s Prayer Group, Vacation Bible School, and was a Sunday School Teacher for over 35 years. She was also involved in women’s ministry, Apples of Gold. Debra enjoyed gardening and growing her own herbs. She loved cooking organic food for her family and friends. Debra was very creative and you could always count on getting a beautifully handmade card from her.
Those Debra leaves behind to cherish her memory include her husband, David; children, Tamara (Brian) Douglas, Daniel (Emily) Wellskopf, and Sam (Catherine) Wellskopf; her grandson, August Wellskopf; and her siblings, Alan (Julie) Antinucci, Adrianna (Paul) Wellskopf, David Antinucci, Anthony (Terry) Antinucci, and Julie (Peter) Rebholz. She is further survived by aunts, uncles, other relatives, and many friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Marlowe Grace Wellskopf.
A funeral service in remembrance of Debra will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 6:00 pm at Campbellsport Alliance Church, N1876 Co Rd V, Campbellsport, WI 53010 . The Rev. Doug Birr will officiate. A private burial will take place at Union Cemetery in Campbellsport.
Debra’s family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Wednesday from 3:00 pm until the time of the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated and will be put towards a charity to be decided at a later date .
Debra’s family would like to thank everyone who supported Debra through her journey; including the nurses and staff at St. Luke’s Intensive Care Unit.
